Tonight was our first visit to Danny's Greek Café. My wife got the Chicken Rice Bowl. I got Danny's Traditional Gyro. And we split a side of falafel. Everything was delicious! The portions deliver a hearty meal. My wife loves Mediterranean food but has a pepper allergy and she always asks about it before ordering. Her food was perfect. Everything I had offered a celebration of flavor. I was especially impressed with the falafel. It was neither dry nor bland. Bimi, the owner, made us feel so welcome and clearly knows how to run a restaurant. The place is clean, well decorated, and welcoming. The cooks are happy and appreciative. To finish this review I'll sum up our experience with one word: delightful!

First 2 times we went were great, fantastic to be specific. This last time though seemed lacking. The cheese steak was mostly bread and tasted that way. There was barely any meat there. The chicken gyro definitely lacked chicken as well. The taste is fantastic but what an underwhelming experience that left us both unsatisfied.

Food was amazing. Also had a lobster bisque soup which was delicious. Found this little Greek restaurant searching on Google. Not a fancy big restaurant but it was clean , staff was helpful.

First impression is how bright and clean the entire place is! They have an excellent array on the menu acceptable for picky preschoolers and grown up foodies. My daughter is always searching for an above the board Mediterranean restaurant that's comparable to a family owned spot she worked for years and her measure is the falafel is her make it or break it on the menu. She was pretty impressed noting the light, airy and fluffy texture. So the falafel is a requirement to try! My deciding factor is the rice and the pita bread. These are also 5*. The pita stayed soft and fresh from bringing home after lunch and warmed in the air fryer and was still so soft and tasty! I had the lamb and rice and there was more than enough for lunch AND dinner! The dolmas are impressive as the leaves are tender, not tough, and the rice filling is firm but soft and not mushy. I've never tried them with lemon, but they added wedges to the plate and it was yummy!! I can go on and on about the food but it's easier to say there was nothing disappointing so we are anticipating exploring the rest of the menu! NOW as for service? When we showed up there was no wait to order or be seated. The food was served quickly and was fresh. Gyros and cannolis are great, lobster bisque was good just not very warm. Fries and pita were great as well. We will be going again.
